Overview of the event

Our client, The Career Expo, a large organization with multiple departments, wanted to give its employees the chance to meet key individuals from all departments. The objective was to enable employees to learn more about the role of different departments and career opportunities within the organization. To accomplish this, they used the SVI platform. The event lasted for five days and allowed employees to participate based on their availability.

Each virtual booth represented a different department and multiple people from the department had access to it. Key individuals could chat with or greet participants in their virtual rooms. The virtual booths featured images, video presentations, and presentation materials. A total of 2,100 employees attended the event, where they could watch 11 live and rebroadcasted conferences. Employees and managers were able to network with each other. Attendees were able to obtain information about career opportunities in various departments of the organization.

Our mandat

Our mandate was to customize the SVI platform to match the customer’s corporate colours and logo. We then provided training to the key individuals who were responsible for running the event. Our goal was to ensure they were self-sufficient and that the event ran smoothly. We held weekly meetings to track progress on training and guarantee that the event was running smoothly. Technical support was also available during the event.

The results

During the seven days of the event, over 2,100 employees visited the Career Expo. Many individuals watched the conferences live or on replay, and employees were able to view videos and materials in the virtual booths.
