Overview of the event
Our client, an Ontario-based employability organization, used our SVI platform to conduct a Bilingual Virtual Career Fair (VCF) online. The event drew participation from fifty-seven (57) employers, who were able to enhance their online presence by incorporating elements such as their corporate logo, job postings, videos, images and virtual rooms into their virtual booths.
Our SVI platform also enabled them to connect with job seekers through the chat window and virtual rooms. The VCF was a success, attracting 1,575 registrants who filled out the registration form before and during the event. Once on the VCF participants could easily navigate and search for job opportunities through the use of the search filter and then proceed to apply directly on the platform. The event led to over 1,800 interviews between job seekers and employers during the one-day event.
Our mandate was to oversee the entire event, guaranteeing a seamless experience for both employers and job seekers. In collaboration with the event promoter, a promotional campaign was executed to guarantee the event’s success. We organized the employers into industry-specific groups and curated a series of interactive conferences for employers and job seekers. The event lasted three days.
A total of 1,575 individuals participated in the event. On average, each employer had 31 one-on-one interactions during the one-day event. Employers were able to access the resumes of job seekers who visited their virtual booth during the event, and they were able to reach out to those individuals after the VCF.
