Overview of the event

Our client held a virtual Speed-Jobbing (SJV) event to provide employers with the ability to connect with multiple job seekers in a short time frame and regardless of their location. To reach potential attendees, the client utilized their database and sent out emails to both employers and job seekers, while also promoting the event through social media platforms.

During the registration process, job seekers were asked to upload their resumes while employers provided the client with the desired candidate profile for the open positions in their company. Once the information was gathered, the client meticulously matched job seekers and employers using the supplied documents. This ensured that each candidate matched the ideal profile provided by the employer and that the employer’s open positions were matched with the most suitable job seekers.

In total, 54 job seekers and 20 attended the event. Using the SJV platform, each participant was able to access their scheduled meetings and the event resulted in 212 interviews being conducted.

Our mandat

Our mandate was to provide the client with a document template to match employers with job seekers. After receiving the documents, we uploaded the information to our platform. A personalized schedule was emailed to all participants. 48 hours before the event, participants had access to a training course on how to navigate the platform effectively. Our technical team was available to respond to any issues that employers and job seekers may have during the event. Participants were also contacted for direct feedback to improve future events.

The results

Ninety percent (90%) of employers reported having met job seekers who met the desired hiring criteria. As a result, several recruiters planned for follow-up meetings or sent job offers to potential candidates.
