Overview of the event

The International Virtual Job Fair (VJF) provided an opportunity for job seekers who have begun the process of immigrating to Canada to connect with employers and apply for available positions. Employers were able to remotely review and select potential staff from applicants interested in moving to Canada.

Our team conducted the initial screening and our client did subsequent screening before the fair. A total of 7,800 individuals completed the registration form before the event. Out of these, 1,575 people were able to access the Virtual Job Fair as they were authorized to work in Canada or had started the immigration process. 57 employers participated in the VJF, added their company logo, job listings, videos, and images, and created a virtual booth. They were able to network with job seekers through the chat window and other virtual rooms. Job seekers were also able to schedule appointments with employers during or after the fair. Attendees were able to attend training sessions and conferences, and obtain information about Canadian employers. Once on the VJF platform, participants could search for jobs through the search filter and apply directly for positions.

Our mandat

Our mandate was to provide a robust and intuitive bilingual (English and French) virtual platform. The platform had to ensure a seamless event experience for participants and make it easy for them to navigate. Our ultimate goal was to facilitate exchanges and meetings between job seekers and employers. We were responsible for managing the registration process to ensure the SVI platform functioned smoothly and facilitated interactions during the event.

The results

A total of 1575 individuals attended the event. Employers had access to the resumes of job seekers who visited their virtual booth, and they were able to reach out to them both during and after the VJF.
